Libri Selects SAP for IT Modernization: Enhancing Inventory Management and Preparing for International Expansion

Libri Chooses SAP!

Following a thorough evaluation, Libri, renowned as the Bookstore of the Year, has selected SAP to modernize its IT system.

With 43 stores and 100 cash registers across Hungary, Libri’s extensive network required an upgrade. The existing non-communicating applications made managerial decision support costly and time-consuming. Therefore, unifying the heterogeneous systems and implementing an integrated solution covering all company processes became crucial. A major focus for Libri is to establish a more transparent inventory management system: handling consignment stock and ensuring up-to-date, accurate data. The project will also play a significant role in optimizing and fully covering the commercial processes of the national store network and integrating Libri’s online store into the complete ERP system.

To achieve these goals, Libri carefully analyzed available products both domestically and internationally and ultimately found Mind System’s solution to be the most suitable.

“We are proud that Mind System emerged victorious from the 12 candidates, enabling our top experts to help Libri enhance its competitiveness and offer superior service to its customers. This project is also a milestone for our company, as it paves the way for our international expansion with the integration of the new bookstore system in Romania,” said Péter Holczer, Managing Director of Mind System.
