Successes at Ökovíz Kft.
ÖKOVÍZ Önkormányzati Kommunális és Vízközmű Üzemeltető Kft. decided in 2007 to implement a new water and waste billing system (VIZDIJ) alongside an SAP solution. That same year, customer requirements were assessed, the SAP modules were configured, and master data conversion began. The go-live occurred in January 2008. Initially, this involved the recording of cash register receipts, followed by the gradual implementation of other SAP transactions and modules, such as MM, SD, and AA. By April 2008, a real-time data connection between the billing subsystem and SAP was established. In the following months, our consultants focused on training an expanding user base and configuring automation processes.
During the project, our specialists had to account for the dynamic growth of Ökovíz Kft., as the number of its customers rapidly increased from 16,000 to 45,000. Managing the increased customer base placed a significant burden on the company’s financial administration. To alleviate this, in September, we established an electronic data connection between Magyar Posta and Ökovíz’s SAP system, relieving the administration of the manual entry of 1,500-2,500 items daily.
Thanks to the project’s success, the company’s specialists successfully completed an inventory in November 2008 using the SAP solution. It is particularly noteworthy that the achievement was greatly supported by the dedication and expertise of the Ökovíz Kft. team, which facilitated continuous work and effective communication throughout the project.
