Successful Live Launch at Rábalux Ltd.
Rábalux Ltd. was founded in 1993 and has experienced dynamic growth, becoming one of Hungary’s leading wholesale companies in the production and distribution of lighting products. Their main focus is on the distribution of residential lighting products (wall lights, wall and ceiling lamps, chandeliers, pendants, table and floor lamps). Their product range is continuously expanding and renewing, keeping pace with current trends and market demands.
This spring, the company in Győr decided to implement an SAP system. The first phase involved implementing wholesale processes using the SAP IS Retail module.
After signing the contract on May 1st, two months of intense work followed. As a result, the live system went live at Rábalux Ltd. on July 4, 2005. The complexity and challenge of the project were due to the international processes involved. The Hungarian and Slovak branches of Rábalux operate on a single system with a shared database, and both companies transitioned to the SAP system simultaneously.
