Retro International Kft. Prepares for Christmas with SAP
Retro International Kft., the exclusive distributor of the Retro and Replay brands, decided in 2007 to implement the template-based Mind-Retail-Fashion solution. The work, which began in June of last year, has now borne fruit: the system has been operating smoothly in nine stores for a month now.
During the project, in addition to modernizing administrative and wholesale processes, we placed great emphasis on fully covering the commercial processes of the extensive store network, as the company operates a total of 20 owned and numerous franchise stores. Moreover, it also operates stores in the Czech Republic and Poland, so in the future, we must be able to manage multiple companies simultaneously within a single system.
Following the successful integration of the cash register systems, all nine Retro-branded stores are now operating their SAP systems in regular daily operation, thanks to the seamless go-live process. With the new Mind-Retail-Fashion solution, the company handles tasks such as shipping, packaging, and warehouse management. Store replenishment is based on minimum-maximum stock levels, ensuring that size shortages are never an issue. The implemented system also integrates and modernizes promotional processes, allowing for personalized promotions even within a single store.
Perhaps most importantly, the successful go-live of Mind System Kft.’s fashion retail system has prepared Retro for the Christmas rush: customers can now enjoy faster and more pleasant service. We are also confident that at Retro, the right product will always be in the right place at the right time.
