Successful Implementation at Orex Watch and Jewelry Trading Ltd.
Orex Ltd. is the largest jewelry and watch retailer in Hungary, operating a total of 42 commercial units, including a meticulously designed retail network. In December 2005, the company decided to implement the Mind-Retail 6.0 template-based solution.
During the project, Orex Ltd. replaced its existing fragmented systems with a modern IT system tailored to meet specific needs by Mind System Ltd. Experts. A crucial requirement was that the system handle the per-gram pricing of jewelry made from different raw materials, accounting for fluctuations in gold and silver prices for both the company’s own products and consignment items.
As a result of the successful implementation, all stores and the central office have been transitioned to the new live system, with the Mind-Retail solution now supporting all back-office functions tailored to the company’s unique business processes.
