Successful Completion of the Trend Kft. Project
The Trend Szerszám, Célgép, Műanyagipari és Kereskedelmi Kft. in Jászberény has successfully transitioned to a fully operational SAP system as of early April. Since the project’s launch in January 2008, the system has expanded beyond the initial financial modules to include sales, manufacturing, and high-bay warehouse functions.
The project also involved a comprehensive review and update of manufacturing technologies to ensure accurate planning and accounting of production. This upgrade allows for detailed cost and profit analysis for both individual products and series, enhancing the company’s ability to measure and improve manufacturing efficiency. The new system facilitates cost-effective procurement and inventory optimization, significantly boosting the company’s productivity.
By the end of April, user training was completed according to the project plan. Employees quickly adapted to their new tasks, performing daily operations efficiently from the start. The full utilization of the new IT system has created an optimal environment for the company, contributing to enhanced operational effectiveness.
Notably, Trend Kft.’s IT team has gained substantial SAP expertise, enabling them to effectively manage system support and troubleshoot issues. This growth is fostering self-improvement within the company, driving organizational and process changes supported by the new system, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
